Self Locking In Worm Gear Slew Drive Description

The worm gear slew drive has the characteristics of reverse self-locking, which can realize reverse self-locking, that is, the gear can only be driven by the worm. This feature makes the slew drive be widely used in solar energy, antenna, lifting, high-altitude operations and other equipment. While improving the scientific and technological content of the main engine, it also greatly improves the operation stability and safety factor of the main engine.
Compared with the traditional gear transmission, the worm gear transmission can obtain a relatively larger reduction ratio.
